Come into a kneeling position, lightly tucking your hands underneath your seat. Lengthen through your spine keeping your shoulders relaxed. Take a couple of conscious breaths to connect. Now engage your core  slightly pulling your naval toward your spine while keeping your shoulders relaxed. Close your eyes and bring your gaze to rest between your eyebrows. Begin to deepen your inhalation and extend your exhalation. Allow each harmonizing breath to bring your awareness a little bit deeper within. Continue to breathe, maintaining this posture for 1-3 minutes. To finish, release your hands from under your seat and relax your core. Sit for a few minutes allowing your breath to flow freely as you observe your experience

  • If it's to hard to sit on your hands or kneel directly on your heels, try placing cushions between your feet and your seat and relax your arms down at your sides.
