Heart Healing
Come into a seated or kneeling position and take a couple of conscious breaths to connect.
Lengthen through your spine and soften your shoulders away from your ears, close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Place your left palm on the center of your chest and raise your right hand up by your right side. Bring the tips of your index finger and thumb to touch keeping the remaining three fingers pointing up. Inhale deeply, pause briefly at the top whilst slightly raising the chest. Exhale slowly relaxing the chest back to neutral.
Continue this slow and steady cycle of breathing, maintaining the positioning of the hands.
Feel into the heart as you breathe and imagine drawing in a sense of lightness into the body.
Practice for 1-3 minutes.
To finish, release your arms down by your side and take a moment to observe your experience.
- This practice can bring relief to a heavy heart. If any emotions arise, let them flow to let them go.
