Start by finding a comfortable sitting position, then, bring your hands up into a praying position, with only the tips of your fingers touching together.
Close your eyes. Let all the tension go and feel your shoulders dropping with relaxation. Take some deep breaths, filling up your chest and stomach.
Bring your attention to the tip of your nose, and each time you breathe in and out, allow the motion of your body to subtly move with your breath.
Place your hands on your thigh/buttox (Tailbone) area, while keeping that rythm of relaxed deep breathing.
In your next breathe in, visualise soft, cleansing white light going in through your nose, travelling down your throat, past your belly, and into your tailbone area - the Root Chakra.
With the next out-breath taken, let’s express: LAM (laaahmm).
Now move your hands to your hip area to honour your Sacaral Chakra.
With the next out-breath taken, let’s express: VAM (vuhmm).
Keep breathing, and as you do, with your next breath out, you see all the stale, stuck and negative energy from these chakras travelling back out and leaving your body.
Breathe in that cleansing light again... Breathe out the stale stuck energy...
Place your hands on your stomach to honour the Solar Plexus Chakra.
With the next out-breath taken, let’s express: RAM (rumm).
Now move your hands to the middle of your chest to honour your Heart Chakra.
With the next out-breath taken, let’s express: YAM (yumm).
Keep breathing, and as you do, with your next breath out, you see all the stale, stuck and negative energy from these chakras travelling back out and leaving your body.
Breathe in that cleansing light again... Breathe out the stale stuck energy...
Very lightly place your hands on your neck to honour your Throat Chakra.
With the next out-breath taken, let’s express: HAM (humm).
Now move your hand to your forehead and lightly place it there to honour your Third Eye Chakra.
With the next out-breath taken, let’s express: OM (ohhmm).
Keep breathing, and as you do, with your next breath out, you see all the stale, stuck and negative energy from these chakras travelling back out and leaving your body.
Breathe in that cleansing light again... Breathe out the stale stuck energy...
Place your hands on the top of your head and visualise a sparkling, beautiful glow of gold emanating from your Crown Chakra.
With the next out-breath taken, let’s express: AUM (ahhmm).
Rest in this healing space for a while. Bring your awareness to the area right in front of your nose.
Gently move your feet or hands.
Open your eyes and smile.
- Spend 15 minutes on each Chakra.
- Drink water at the end.
